Established in 2009, Parsec Communications has been providing government and business with strategic communications services through Nigel Catchlove, the Principal Consultant of Parsec Communications. He is an experienced public relations professional who is passionate about the added value and multiplier effect that can be achieved by communicating effectively while consciously managing the public image of an organisation. His experience is not only in media relations and external communications but also in internal communications – in fact he believes they are all linked – staff members read the newspapers, take in social media and watch TV making them subject to perceptions just like directors, shareholders and customers.
He has shown a positive return on investment in public relations during bid preparation in several industries and has also driven changes in internal corporate culture to understand and embrace effective communications as part of the leadership toolset for managers.
In 2009 he decided to set up his own consultancy to show how companies can win more business, improve staff retention, and be noticed by customers for all the right reasons. Nigel has years of experience working for government departments, a ministerial office as well as major multinational industries.
He has shown an ability to absorb technically challenging information quickly and an ability to translate that information into plain English for a variety of audiences.
